[color=green]My name is Mark Holmes and my humble beginnings in metal began several years ago. I've always had a certain taste for the more extreme side of music and after experimenting with various bands and genre's like Aerosmith, Alec Cooper and, Odin forgive me, metalcore I came upon the demon goddess I call metal.
My all time best experiance with metal was seeing my favourite band Amon Amarth in concert with my wonderful girlfriend Brooke, the two parts of my life I love most in the world together, safe to say it was a great night.
In regards to what I wish to contribute to metal and to this site in general is to perhaps add a few more bands that I think are incredible to the repetoire of this site, seeing as how it's relatively new I have alot to work with. And if it's possible I'd like to be able to be a reviewer for the Metalship and give my own insight into various albums and bands.
Aside from metal my main interests and passions in life is my obsession with warrior cultures, especially Vikings though I'm pretty well versed in quite a few, my incredible, wonderful girlfriend Brooke, exercising ( yes I am that manly xD ), videogames, becoming a better Asatruer ( I worship Odin and Thor ) reading, discussing anything and everything and writing.
Lastly, what I'm looking for a Metalship is the oppurtunity to expand my individual tastes in metal as a metal head and contribute my own knowledge and opinions to the metal community as well as discuss metal with other like minded people .
