Les finlandais Soulfallen sont sur le point de sortir leur troisième opus, The Promise of Hell.
Histoire de faire patienter un peu les fans, le combo vient de dévoiler son nouveau clip, pour le titre "Scars Aligned":
The Promise of Hell sera dispo à partir du 18 janvier.
Soulfallen (Dark Death Mélodique, Finlande) vient de rendre public son nouveau site officiel. On peut y trouver son nouvel album, The Promise of Hell, en téléchargement gratuit ou contre un don au prix non fixé.
Le groupe a par ailleurs mis en place un système pour récompenser ses donateurs: il leur propose de faire figurer leur nom dans les remerciements de son prochain album.
Voici le communiqué officiel de Soulfallen:
"Playing in a band for many years and previously releasing two albums, we have discovered that due to the funding policies of various sites that sell music as downloads or provides streaming services, there is very little capital to be gained this way for the ones who have in fact created the music - the band. For this reason we have chosen to take measures into our own hands. From this day forth our third album 'The Promise of Hell' will be available for downloading for free from our official website at www.soulfallen.com.Yes, you heard right, it will be available FOR FREE.
In addition to making our new album available, we have posted a donate-button to our official website where anyone who downloads the new album can make A VOLUNTARY DONATION via PayPal that will go directly to the band. This way we hope to give direct means for anyone who has enjoyed and wishes to support the music of Soulfallen.
And there is a catch. Anyone who donates 2 euros or more and leaves us with their name details, will get their name printed on the booklet of our fourth album once it comes out in the future as our gratitude for your personal support.
We hope you will enjoy our new album and support the bands you wish to continue making music also in the future."

Les finlandais Soulfallen viennent de dévoiler la pochette de leur troisième opus The Promise of Hell, qui sortira le 18 janvier 2012 via le label créé par le groupe Grave New Music.
Ce nouvel effort poursuivra l'histoire débutée lors des deux premiers opus.
Le groupe commente:
"The new album will be the final part of a trilogy, the closing of a chapter. It will bear the trademark sound of Soulfallen with some new flavours directly from the ever-burning kitchens of Hell. The story will continue where Grave New World left off: at the burial of the world. Something has gone terribly wrong and life has united with death in a way never seen before. Humanity is not allowed rest but trapped in a Hell where even death cannot save those already dead. Expect one Hell of a journey into an inferno of soul tearing sadness, unearthly ires and all the creatures caught in between."

Par ailleurs, les finlandais ont annoncé le départ de Simo (guitare) et Matti (batterie). Les remplaçants n'ont pas été dévoilé, mais le groupe assure que cela n'affectera pas la tournée à venir.
Enfin, un clip sera prochainement réalisé, pour le titre "Scars Aligned", morceau sur lequel chante Annika Jalkanen.
Les finlandais de Soulfallen viennent d'annoncer leur entrée au studio Watercastle pour enregistrer le successeur de Grave New World, qui s'intitulera The Promise of Hell. Les sessions auront lieu de juillet à août 2011, et se poursuivront au studios Noisework Productions pour tout ce qui est orchestration.
D'après le groupe, ce nouvel effort contiendra neuf titres.
