Le combo de Folk Metal Midnattsol, mené par Carmen Elise Espenaes, la petite soeur de Liv Kristine (Leaves' Eyes), a publié son nouveau clip, "Kong Valemons Kamp". Le morceau est extrait du prochain album du groupe, "The Metamorphosis Melody". Il contient des images des sessions d'enregistrement du disque. Prévu pour le 25 avril en Europe et pour le 3 mai aux Etats-Unis via Napalm Death, "The Metamorphosis Melody" a été enregistré au Studio E (The Vision Bleak, Lacrimas Profundere, Secrets Of The Mon) avec le producteur Markus Stock.

MIDNATTSOL, combo mené par Carmen Elise Espenaes (la petite soeur de la chanteuse de Leaves' Eyes, Liv Kristine), sortira son troisième album, "The Metamorphosis Melody", le 25 mars. Le CD a été enregistré au Studio E (THE VISION BLEAK, LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE, SECRETS OF THE MOON) avec le producteur Markus Stock.

Midnattsol, groupe allemand et norvégien dans lequel Carmen Elise Espenaes (la petite sœur de Liv Kristine de Leave's Eyes) officie, a annoncé la sortie de son prochain et troisième opus, "The Metamorphosis Melody", pour le 25 mars 2011. L'album a été enregistré au Studio E (The Vision Bleak, Lacrimas Profundere, Secrets of the Moon), avec le producteur Markus Stock. L'édition limitée contiendra l'album, un DVD bonus, ainsi qu'un titre supplémentaire, chanté par le guitariste du groupe, Daniel Droste.

Ce dernier vient d'ailleurs de quitter le combo, afin de se concentrer sur son autre groupe, Ahab. Midnattsol est donc en ce moment à la recherche d'un nouveau guitariste.

Midnattsol, le groupe de la jeune soeur de Liv Kristine de Leaves' Eyes, Carme Elise Espenaes, vient de finir le travail de son troisième album au Studio E (Secrets Of The Moon) avec le producteur Markus Stock. A pour une sortie prévue fin d'année.

Commentaire du groupe: "We've done it! Our third album is recorded, including mixing and mastering. And we are really proud of the result — we think it's amazing.

"Our feeling is that everyone of us has developed as well as the band together. Nevertheless we are still MIDNATTSOL.

"We had an awesome time in Studio E and want to thank Markus Stock for his great work — also as a producer for us. But there are still thousands of things to do until the CD will be released.

"In the next time, we will work on the cover and artwork for the CD. Of course we will keep you informed about the process. And to shorten the time you have to wait, here is a small video of Carmen's recordings for you [see below]."

D'après le Myspace du groupe, les norvégiens de Midnattsol vont s'enfermer prochainement dans les Studios E (The Vision Bleak, Secrets of the Moon...) avec Markus Stock pour mettre en boîte le successeur de Nordlys.
Voici l'annonce officielle du groupe:
"After we have spent lots of time in our new rehearsal room during the last month, the time has come – WE WILL ENTER THE STUDIO!
We can justly claim that we have never worked so intensively on our material and also the work with our new guitarist Alex was like a rejuvenation for us. Thus we are extremely looking forward to record the songs now!
As we had been very satisfied with the recordings of “Nordlys” at Studio E, we have decided for the third album not only to let the recordings do by such an experienced producer as Markus Stock from Studio E (e.g. The Vision Bleak, Lacrimas Profundere, Secrets of the Moon and Dornenreich), but also the mixing and mastering.
The best news is however: The recordings will already begin May 24th 2010 and with a short interruption we will be in the studio until July.
Of course we will keep you informed about further information regarding the new album and the release date."
