Enslaved chez Nuclear Blast

Le groupe de black Metal novégien
Enslaved vient de signer avec le label allemand Nuclear Blast qui avait déjà diffusé leurs album en Amérique du Nord. Le label commente : "Enslaved est l'un des groupes les plus fantastiques venu de Norvège. Nous avons eu le plaisir de travailler avec eux sur leurs deux derniers albums en Amérique du Nord, et à partir de ce jour-là dans le monde entier. Nous attendons que leur nouveau chef-d'œuvre soit libéré pour les foules plus tard dans l'année! "

Les norvégiens d'
Enslaved sortira leur nouvel opus, "Axioma Ethica Odini", le 27 septembre prochain en Europe et le 28 septembre en Amérique du Nord. La pochette de l'opus, créée par Truls Espedal, est également dévoilée.
Voici les commentaires de Grutle Kjellson:
“On every new album cover, me and [rhythm guitarist/songwriter] Ivar [Bjørnson] come up with the idea of what the cover art shall include in terms of elements, symbolism and so forth. After that, we contact Truls and tell him about our ideas for the cover art. Then we arrange a meeting where we sit down for a couple of hours making sketches. Truls also has the opportunity to come up with his own ideas of how we can transform our original ideas the best possible way. He has made a masterpiece this time as well! The cover art is simply amazing! Amazing…"

"I'm always excited about working with ENSLAVED, which is the reason I feel that too much time goes by between releases — ha, ha! But once again I sat down with Ivar and Grutle, and their ideas were more complex and interesting than ever. Also, their expectations and confidence that I'm able to come up with something better than before pushes me to set the bar even higher. This time around, we set out to expand further what we have done on earlier works: mixing the figurative paintings with the 'symbolic' design even more. By doing this, I feel that we are able to convey a lot more atmosphere, story, and a visually more interesting cover throughout. Hopefully other people will think the same. Enslaved partira en tournée européenne. Voici ce qu'à a annoncé
Ivar Bjørnson:
"It is with great enthusiasm we can announce the European dates of our 'Circling Above and Within Tour'!
"Ash clouds, however metal and majestic they might be, put a stop to our planned U.K. tour back in April. We started working on scheduling new dates immediately, and now we are ready to go!
"ENSLAVED is a band that enjoys being on the road like nothing else; we do take pride in being a hard-working and increasingly energetic and focused live band. We are also very pleased with our new album (why be modest?) due to be out in connection with this tour — and cannot wait to perform the tracks live!"

Les grecs de
Rotting Christ sont contraints d'annuler leur tournée sud-américaine suite à la blessure à la jambe de Sakis Tolis, chanteur/guitariste du groupe.
Le frontman s'est en effet blessé lors d'un accident de voiture, et doit rester couché jusqu'à ce qu'il soit totalement remis.
Voici l'annonce:
"Rotting Christ's frontman Sakis has been involved in a car accident in which he has sustained injuries to his leg that will keep him glued to his bed for at least a month. Unfortunately this means
Rotting Christ have been forced to postpone their upcoming South American tour.
"As you all know, we were really looking forward to these shows and are gutted and very sorry we can¢t make it over, but we promise all our Latin American Hermandos that we will be back in October for an even more extended tour of your continent!
Whatever doesn¢t kill us will make us Stronger!
With respect"

Sorties d'albums
Le groupe de Doom Metal allemand Ahab a dévoilé l'artwork de leur prochain album The Giant qui sortira en mai. le groupe a aussi déclaré l'apparition du claviériste/chanteur d'Enslaved Herbrand Larsen. L'artwork a été fait par Sebastian Jerke et change des précédents artworks du groupe.
"Heimvegen", un nouveau morceau des Norvégiens d'Enslaved, est disponible en streaming à cette adresse. 
ENSLAVED, SHINING, IHSAHN et SOLEFALD ont été nommés dans la catégorie Metal pour la 39e édition des Spellmann Awards (l'équivalent norvégien des Victoires de la Musique).
ENSLAVED, EXHUMED et CLITEATER ont été confirmés pour la prochaine édition du Party.San Open Air, qui aura lieu du 11 au 13 août à Schlotheim/Flugplatz Obermehler, en Allemagne.
Il est possible d'écouter les trente premières secondes de chaque titre de Aealo, le nouvel album de Rotting Christ, sur Amazon. 
Un mois et quelques après la sortie de From Dusk Till Doom, les Norvégiens de Stonegard ont décidé de se séparer, à cause de conflits internes.
