Les finlandais Omnium Gatherum (Dark Death Mélodique) viennent de se séparer de Toni Mäki, le bassiste qui avait rejoint le groupe en 2009. Pour l'instant, c'est Eerik Purdon, l'ancien bassiste, qui occupe le poste pour dépanner. Du coup, Omnium Gatherum lance une annonce pour remplacer Mäki:
"So, if you have what it takes, feel free to contact us (ogatherum@gmail.com) and manifest that you're the best man for the OG low-frequency department and the meanest dude for the meanest machine! …And we'll see where it goes."
Profitant de cette annonce, les finlandais précisent avoir terminé la composition du successeur de New World Shadows. Une entrée en studio se fait imminente.
Les Finlandais d'Omnium Gatherum viennent d'annoncer l'arrivée d'un nouveau guitariste en la présence de Joonas "Jope" Koto (Malpractice, ex-To/Die/For, ex-Hateframe).
"New World Shadows", le cinquième opus d'Omnium Gatherum, est entré officiellement à la cinquième place des charts finlandais.
Il s'agit de la meilleur performance de l'histoire du groupe.

Omnium Gatherum vient de signer chez Lifeforce Records. Le groupe entrera en studio fin août pour enregistrer son cinquième album prévu pour 2011.
Le groupe commente: "After a lot of consideration and negotiating with many parties, we came to a conclusion that Lifeforce is the way to go! They've been showing the right kind of interest in us for some time now and it seems that they have the same honest attitude towards music and mayhem as we do."
Regarding the material for the band forthcoming CD, OMNIUM GATHERUM said in a statement, "This time we really put a lot of time and effort on the pre-production of the stuff.
"It's going to be an epic and massive attack of ever-flowing stream of Finnish 'melodic death metal,' straight from the souls of black."
