Catamenia: nouveau chanteur annoncé avant la fin de l'année
Suite à un énorme remaniement de line-up, Catamenia est en pleine recherche de son nouveau chanteur. Selon un communiqué officiel posté sur le site du groupe, les finlandais ont sélectionné trois hurleurs, et rendront leur décision avant la fin de l'année.
Voici le communiqué:
"We're down to three candidates with our new vocalist and they are Chris, Juha-Matti and Olli-Jukka. The actual decision between them will be done before the end of the year, so keep on checking our site for the updates!"

Le combo finnois de black metal Catamenia a annoncé le recrutement du chanteur Juha-Matti Perttunen dans ses rangs. Le groupe a déclaré que le choix avait été rude entre Ash d'Agathodaimon, Olli-Jukka Mustonen et lui, mais qu'il avait su les convaincre par son charisme, son attitude et sa capacité à utiliser différents types de voix.
Catamenia s'était séparé d'Ari Nissilä (chanteur et guitariste), de Toni Kansanoja (basse et choeurs), de Kari Vähäkuopus (chant clair) et de Mikko Nevanlahti (batterie). Ils ont été remplacé par Mikko Hepo-oia à la basse, Tony Qvick à la batterie et de Sauli Jauhiainen à la guitare.
D'après le site officiel de Catamenia, le groupe finlandais vient de connaître son plus grand bouleversement de line-up depuis ses débuts. En effet, ce ne sont pas moins de quatre de ses membres (Ari Nissilä (chant, guitare), Toni Kansanoja (basse), Kari Vähäkuopus (chant clair) and Mikko Nevanlahti (batterie)) qui décident de quitter la formation, pour diverses raisons.
Suite à ces départs, Riku Hopeakoski annonce l'arrivée de Mikko Hepo-Oja (ex-bassiste de Catamenia) à la basse, Tony Qvick derrière les fûts et Sauli Jauhiainen en tant que guitariste.
Voici la déclaration officielle de Riku Hopeakoski:
"I'm sad to inform you all about huge and unfortunate line-up changes in the band. Ari, Toni, Kari and Mikko decided to part ways with Catamenia because of their project bands, businesses, lack of inspiration and time, personal issues and etc. I had a great time with you and hope nothing but the best for you. We'll always be true friends, no question about it! You've been my family for years and you will always be part of it, now and in future! There are no words to describe, but only: Thousands of sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart, guys - it was a damn awesome journey with great unforgettable memories! THANK YOU!!!
But now some happier news. The first new attachment for the band is our ex-bassist Mikko Hepo-Oja. He was our bassist during Winternight Tragedies -era. Also two new members join the band - drummer Tony Qvick and guitarist Sauli Jauhiainen. Also the new vocalist will be informed quite soon. So, all in all: We're back in business!
