Skinlab vient de poster "Amphetamine Gods" sur sa page myspace.
La chanson est issue du prochain album "The Scars Between Us" qui sortira avant la fin de l'année via Stand And Deliver Records.
Skinlab est entré aux Different Fur Studios la semaine dernière pour enregistrer un EP, "Fleshwounds... Under the Influence". L'EP contiendra une nouvelle chanson et cinq reprises.
"Fleshwounds... Under The Influence" will include the following covers:
* NAILBOMB - Wasting Away
* ACID BATH - Paegan Love Song
* CROWBAR - Planets Collide
* LEVEL - Push
* MACHINE HEAD - Ten Ton Hammer
Skinlab annonce le départ de son guitariste Mike Roberts:
Le bassiste/vocaliste Steev Esquivel commente : "We've basically been contemplating our next move, having recently parted ways again with our brother Mike Roberts.
"Things have been pretty rough the last year, not having a solid lineup to get out on the road and support our latest album, 'The Scars Between Us'... We basically had to make a drastic decision to continue on our quest for a permanent guitarist.
"As much as we loved having Mike back in the band, it became obvious to both of us that his schedule and family obligations would not allow him to participate in touring. While we were hoping to jump back on track and write/tour/record together, it just wasn't working. It was a shitty decision to make on both ends, but we wish nothing but the best for Mike and his family."
Le groupe de San Francisco, Skinlab, vient d'annoncer l'arrivée du guitariste Brian Jackson (que l'on a pu voir dans le groupe Kreep) dans les rangs du groupe.
Skinlab accueille un nouveau guitariste dans ses rangs, il s'agit de Brett "Buzzard" Makowski, ami de longue date du groupe, qui n'est autre que l'actuel bassiste de 36 Crazyfists. Il remplace Glen Telford qui avait quitté le groupe il y a un mois.
Le nouvel album du groupe The Scars Between Us sortira le 28 septembre prochain via XIII Bis Records.

"The Scars Between Us", le nouvel album des vétérans de la bay de San Francisco, Skinlab, sortira le 15 septembre via Stand And Deliver Records.
La vidéo pour la chanson "In for the Kill", présente sur le nouveau CD, est désormais disponible. Le clip a été filmé en mai 2008 à Oakland par Jourdan McClure et voit l'apparition de Nate Quarry et Greg Thompson, combattant de UFC.
