Sun Devoured Earth est un one-man band letton né en 2009.

Vadim Vasilyev est effectivement l'instigateur de ce projet, auquel il souhaite colorer le son d'éléments issus du Black Metal, de l'Ambiant, du Shoegaze ou encore du Post-Rock.
